A 360° interactive installation made of made of 5,600 silicon cords, suspended from an 18 metre diameter ring – a canvas for films, live performance and audience interaction. This is “Curtain call”, an interactive performance installation created by architect and designer Ron Arad as part of Bloomberg Summer at the Roundhouse, London, during a season of projections that took place last august.
“It’s a new way of seeing art, a chance to actually walk through the canvas.” That’s the idea of the international designer, Ron Arad. Visitors could enter the installation and actively enjoy the video works created by Babis Alexiadis, Hussein Chalayan, Mat Collishaw, Ori Gersht, Greenaway & Greenaway, Christian Marclay, Javier Mariscal, SDNA, David Shrigley, and students from the Royal College of Art as part of the piece. A panoramic, flexible, ethereal screen created with the aim of having intense and immersive video experiences.
